Raw Bakewell Tart balls

I adapted this recipe from Raw Press which my sister suggested. All of their recipes look AMAZING. I first attempted these back in the summer and have made them so many times since!

They taste so sweet & indulgent that you’d have no idea that they’re free from gluten, grains, dairy, eggs and refined sugar! Being full of raw goodness, they are perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth while keeping the diet on the straight & narrow 🌼

To make these, I blended the following (with a whisk as my blender has stopped working!):

  • 1 cup cashew nuts
  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Once roughly blended (I prefer rustic textures over overly processed), I rolled into small balls and coated in desiccated coconut. Then popped them in the fridge to set – voilà! 😍
